Silverlight Studios Photography is an on-location and in-studio photography service based in the Greater Edmonton region. As your lead photographer, I am available for travel to destination weddings both within Canada and abroad.


My photography style provides a combination of traditional artistic portraiture, in-the-moment story-telling and modern trends in photography. Although a majority of my sessions are on-location, I do have access to a number of studio locations should you prefer to book an in-studio session with me.

Please note that due to a new addition to our family, I will not be accepting any wedding bookings from August 1, 2013 until Spring 2014.

If you would like to book a regular session, I will be accepting bookings until approximately September 1, 2013. I will resume accepting a limited number of sessions as soon as I am available.

I don't know where to start...Johanna is not only a very talented photographer she is a gorgeous woman inside and out. She makes everything fun, easy going and enjoyable. I had Johanna do my wedding photos in August 2012 and loved her so much I had her do my boudoir photos along with family photos as well. She is open to new ideas and has an artistic/urban eye. She not only is a modern photographer but she can also do traditional as well. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and makes you smile no matter the circumstances; whether you're standing there naked infront of her or marrying your dream man.
